It's at night when he's asleep, where she would just look at him. Letting her once smile become content with thoughts of corruption. No, it wasn't that she didn't love him, oh how she loved him so. It was just an aching feeling that this life was too perfect to be true. Regardless of her slew of mindless thoughts, she'd go to bed. Laying next to him, somewhat at a distance and facing away. From time to time he'd place an arm around her in slumber, but it didn't comfort her. Just trigger more thoughts of how she can make him miserable.

You see, she wasn't always like this, she used to be a very spirited girl. But this was before her first love crushed her heart. In the past she was in-love with someone, someone who returned the boundless love she employed. They would do everything together, and everything they did she enjoyed so much. Until he disappeared. She woke one morning only to find that he wasn't by her side. Calling out for him and no answer, searching and no one to be found. Days on to weeks, weeks on to months and still nothing. A year passed, and that emptiness inside grew larger. With nothing to fill it, it formed a shell around her to the point where almost everything she said was a lie to keep everyone around her from knowing her pain.

Till one day he appeared, and the love she had for him re-flourished. Holding on to him with all years of bound love she asked him why. His reply was simply, "A love that was too much to bear," and for the best he disappeared. Those words he spoke tore her already broken heart to shred and before she could comprehend those words, he was gone again. Leaving her with the thought that there is no such thing as true love.

She woke, in a gasp of air and cold sweats as she noticed her newly beloved still passed out beside her. The cool night air brushing past her cheeks only urged her to end it. The words, "Too good to be true" rushes through her head. Though she knew he loved her dearly, her past tainted her innocence and she will end it before he does. Have him feel the pain she felt when her past love betrayed her. She reached for a blade, and cut the emptiness back into her heart.

Till this day and once again she walks sad and alone, but as a restless spirit, never finding the and love peace she aches for...

But that's not how the story goes, for when she was in pieces from the disappearance of a thought love, a flame appeared. Though that flame was dark, it filled her with the love she forever desired, stronger than that of years ago. That flame brought her the light to see past her shell and brought her into his world. That flame knows too well how she feels and showed her a place where her love is appreciated and never turned away. She now believes in true love and found it in him.

It's at night when he's asleep she reminisce about the love he blessed her with. Her smile filled with warmth, and how she cherished him so. Laying next to him in a close snuggle his arm that would wrap around her in his slumber would bring comfort to her restless night.

At times she would wake from a cold breeze in the night air and he would caress her under his blanket. And there she would rest forever in-love.
